Bris Records, Inc., is a multifaceted record label, founded by the young entrepreneur KT Brisport, with the aid of several interested investors. It was established in New York State, in 1997, as a realistic alternative for local area talent.
Bris Records provides a responsible, positive and entertaining option, to satisfy the needs of the growing market of consumers looking for music that is both entertaining and positive.
The label has sought out and enlisted the expertise of some of the music industry’s best minds available in New York City. With an aggressive overall strategy, Bris Records demonstrates its dedication to providing excellent service, whether in the office, nightclub, or studio.
Initially, Bris Records focused on Reggae, Hip Hop, R&B, and Gospel talents. It has since expanded to involved other music forms. Bris Records, currently has several artists signed and is in the process of signing new acts. In 1997, Bris Records, Inc., launched its first recording, with the release of Music, by Trevor.
Since then, Bris Records has set about cementing its place in the recording industry, with conscientious care to marketing, distributing and promoting. The label, in particular concentrates on advancing new and upcoming artists “looking for a break.”
Today Bris Records, focuses on collaborating with like-minded artists interested in positively impacting communities, across all borders.
HISTORY
Started in 1997 with a focus on New York on identifying and developing local Reggae, Hip Hop, R&B, and Gospel artist, Bris Records has evolved. Bris Records dissolved and was reacquired in 2008 with a focus on developing stronger social mission, conscious raising and community building. In 2020, artists collaboration program was started. Together the mission was re-envisioned in 2021 to utilize evolving online and social media resources to build a global presence by incorporating artists around the globe with a shared vision of building community through music.
